Emily will be the master of ceremonies for the In-House Legal Stream for ALTACON 21.
Emily is responsible for the strategic management of the Alternative Legal Services (ALT) practice in Australia
Working closely with her colleagues across ALT’s global network, Emily leads an experienced and growing team of qualified lawyers, legal analysts and eDiscovery specialists based across Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Emily is focused on developing innovative, flexible and cost-competitive solutions which respond to the challenges faced by clients over the course of a Disputes matter. Emily is also engaged in developing solutions to alleviate cost pressures and resourcing constraints faced by clients for internal legal processes, such as internal investigations and claims assessments.
Before taking up her role with ALT in 2017, Emily practised as a Senior Associate in our Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne. She had a particular interest and expertise in class actions, having acted for clients in the defence of a number of separate class actions brought in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia over recent years. During the course of these matters, Emily gained extensive experience in managing large-scale document review exercises and co-ordinating large teams.
