Sarah has worked with a range of clients across all industry sectors on large-scale corporate transactions and has extensive experience innovating and streamlining the provision of process driven or information intensive legal services through the use of specialised teams, process and technology.
Sarah joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a Senior Associate in 2010, having worked at a magic circle firm in Hong Kong for 3 years and at another leading Australian law firm for 4 years before that. In 2018, Sarah assumed the role of Strategic Projects Lead for the Corporate practice group in Australia and was responsible for driving and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve enhanced efficiencies and impact for our clients. Sarah stepped into the role of Associate Director, Alternative Legal Services, Australia in 2020.
Sarah has advised major corporations, private equity firms and fund managers on a diverse range of matters including domestic and cross-border acquisitions and disposals, equity capital raisings, restructures, shareholder arrangements, corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters.
Sarah applies her extensive transactional experience, together with her in-depth understanding of legal process and technology, to work collaboratively with clients who are looking to innovate and leverage streamlined, value-driven legal services to achieve their business outcomes.
